Him: What are you doing?
Me: I'm *trying* to unravel this stupid ball of yarn that keeps getting tangled and I can't finish knitting this damned hat. I swear this hat is cursed. I can't finish it. I have to undo it and re-do it every five rows and just when I think I've got it, I mess up again and I really, REALLY want this hat. I want to finish it. I want to start finishing things.
Him: Start finishing things...
Me: Yes, you see, because I never finish what I start and I want to finish things, I don't want to be one of those people who never finish what they start all my life. So if I start to finish things, then maybe I will not finish to finish things but at least something's going to be finished. Because I have to *start* to *finish*.
Him: You lost me like 3000 finishes ago.

This is so funny and the same conversation that I have with my husband! Glad I'm not the only one!
