Wait a minute... you didn't know I left? Ooooh... yeah, about that, I went on a mini vacation with my family and blogged about it the night before I left, but I accidentaly clicked on the "Save Now" button instead of "Publish Post".
So you missed all the jokes I made about my aunt and they were pretty funny, but you'll have to take my word for it.
I left my favorite boy for a week and came back to a clean house (he's such a sweetie) but while I left he caught the nastiest cold ever. So I'm now cooking chicken stock to make him noodle soup afterwards and have been washing my hands like crazy (I hate having colds, I hate it- HATE. IT.)

On a TOTALLY different note:
While I was away, I picked up this book that caught my eye at the bookstore. It's called "The Shack" and I'm sure you've heard of it if you have happened to check out best sellers lately. It's labeled under "Religious" and I guess you COULD call it that if you had to sort it into a specific category. But it's much more than that. It's a heartbreaking story about a father and his little girl who gets kidnapped.
I am not a very religious person. I have my share of disagreements with church and with the way we look at God. But I do believe in God and I think all of my problems with the church are very well explained in this book. This is the first time I have read anyone talking about God the way I believe in Him. As our Father who loves us no matter what and who doesn't expect us to live fearing Him or in guilt.
I don't usually talk about religion or God because it's like talking about politics or football- you will never make everyone agree with you. And I don't want to, I love people who think differently and challenge me into seeing the world in a different way. A way that I am not used to look at it.
But this is a special book, I think. It took me only a day and a half to read it because it is so well written. And this book summarizes everything I think about God and how I feel Him in my life.
I hadn't read a book so quickly in a while (since the last Twilight book- guilty).
So I hope you get a chance to read it, even if your view of Him is different than mine, it's a good book and it doesn't hurt to read a good book, does it?
